Unlike 3D printers, which build up parts by adding layers, Rownd CNC machines produce parts by removing material from a solid block. Both can create similar shapes, but Rownd CNC machines can process engineering plastics as well as metals such as aluminum and brass. 3D printers are typically limited to plastics such as PLA or ABS.
